The old way

How to play
  • Walk with the arrow keys or WASD, diagonals with Q E Z C, the pad on a phone, or click a spot on the map.
  • Click a monster (on the map or in the battle list) to attack it. Space targets the nearest one, Esc stops.
  • Right-click (or long-press) a creature, an item or a spot for everything you can do with it: look, follow, trade, invite to a party, send a message.
  • Drag items between the equipment, the backpack, bags, the depot and the map. Drop an item on another player to offer a trade. Ctrl or Shift while dropping asks how many.
  • Click a bag to open it in its own window. Use a locker in a depot to open your depot; letters and parcels go into a mailbox.
  • Runes: click the rune, then click the target. Esc cancels.
  • Without food you do not regenerate. Eat meat or bread.
  • Spells are spoken. The spellbook lists yours; the teachers in the temples teach new ones.
  • Talk to NPCs: stand close and type hi, then trade, mission, spells or blessing.
  • Hotkeys: F1–F12 (set them with the Hotkeys button), 1 health potion, 2 mana potion, 3 eat, 4 heal spell, Enter chat.
  • Commands: type !commands in chat. Houses: !buyhouse at the door. Guilds: !guild create Name.
